Technology and Us (2020)

How have you thought about the ways you live with and in technology since the beginning of 2020?

The dynamics of human interaction has definitely changed since COVID-19 pandemic. Technology has definitely been a significant substitute for a direct human interaction. While we had already seen peak development of online communication even before corona but due aftermath of the pandemic has brought series of massive development in virtual interaction. The tech giants Microsoft and Google both pushed digital communication software with strong file sharing and collaborative working system with Teams and Zoom respectively. These new tools have definitely changed the way we work, learn and communicate.

We can even see a trend in work-in-home culture be the thing of future saving high rents of office for smaller startups. We have reached a peak of Ai development where it knows us better of what we want or need more than us. What this means is the way we interact with technology are much more personal and catered to oneself. I would like to say for the future that technology will blend-in as complete necessity for human interaction whether we like it or not, will remain an integral part of human socio-economic structures in future. The questions that remains are that "Is this the peak of Technology? Will it fail and break down on us like a massive flood? Up to what extent Can we survive with this virtual presence?".

Given the condition with pandemic..... for now it just Works.
